The stories of the Pharaohs never cease to amaze me! They took everything with them as they died, believing that material things, food and animals would go to the afterlife with them! Even this boat!

Visiting the site of Gizeh, do not hesitate to stop. You will learn a lot about the surrounding of the Pyramids and the Sphinx while visiting the museum. It is better to have a guide to have all the explanations.

It's hard to believe how old this boat is approx 2500BC. Incredible how well preserved it is and looks like it would still be able to be used today
