If you are in Luxor, then you must allow a few hours to visit the Karnak temple complex / open air museum. It is easy to Imagine what this place looked like in its day, splendid, ostentatious, colourful. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, a...More

This is a must do trip while in Luxor. The size and detail are totally something you should not miss. Remember to take a hat or umbrella as it is very hot at this time.

There is just so much to see it can be overwhelming. Take some time, take some notes or have a guide book. This is such impressive history you want to spend time getting it right.

We need to slow down and enjoy all that Karnak has to offer. This is an amazing location to experience. Check all of the ruins.

Here you just walk around a roped area. There are a lot of things to see. Some are labeled most are not. It’s like a giant jigsaw puzzle to put all this together. Worth to walk around while at the temple.

A guide can be helpful in figuring out what you are actually looking at but grandeur abounds. Well worth a visit.

Huge columns with opulent ornamentation carved atop each and every column...all different ….like no two snowflakes alike ...well no two columns have the same display on top.

An amazing part of Karnak Temple that is often overlooked. My last few visits to Karnak Temple there has been so much to see in the main Temple complex that I missed this bit. This year I bought the extra ticket for this place and...More

The most exciting part of Karnak Temple. It shows all the artifacts chronologically from the old kingdom to the Ottoman empire. It is a great place to know all the history of Egypt.
