Lovely waterfall . Totally worth seeing , although the additional cost to enter the National Park is expensive for such a short visit !

Great place to visit - we went on a very rainy day and was still able to enjoy the walk and visit to los cascados waterfalls A car is advisable to explore around this area

Very picturesque spot to visit while in the south. It would be a lovely place to pack a picnic and enjoy with a view! Also can find some walks in the area but we did not do.

Our tour took us to this lovely natural park for a modest hike, enjoying the river, rocks and falls, plus the views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance.

These are not huge falls but a cascade of falls though the volcanic rock. In places the water raced through the gaps between volcanic rock. Well worth a visit.

My title should pretty much describe how I feel about this attraction. The waterfalls coming down from the volcano are absolutely beautiful. This is an absolute must see. I have now made two trips to come here. I am likely to make a third.

We were very lucky to have this lovely place included in our bus tour from our cruise ship. This is Chile at its best, the splendid countryside and unspoiled nature. Just beautiful.

It was rainy when we went, but we still enjoyed the visit. The water is a remarkable color and there are nice, short hikes to do along the river. Maybe it's even more stunning when the water level is higher?

We visited this place during the afternoon. It took us around 1 hour to do both treks, as they were quite short. It is a beautiful place with many areas to take pictures. The entrance fee is 2.000 CLP for nationals and 4.000 CLP for...More

Ignore my earlier answer. I was in the wrong city! Half a day is enough and it’s quite accessible from Puerto Varas, probably 45 minutes or so by car. Not sure about the bus.

Driving is fairly easy in this area so I would recommend to hire a car specially if you plan to spend a few days in Puerto Varas. The weather can greatly impact the views at Petrohue Falls and Osorno Volcano area so plan to... More
