Take the unique funicular to the top - ride the gondolas across the top - OR vis-versa. Nice views. The Christas is an awesome settings. It takes a couple hours to enjoy all the lookouts and statue and church.

making it here was almost imposible as riots and violence take over Santiago. I don't think the city is particularly pretty from the top. Stop by and move on.

We went up to the top using the transport, an attraction in itself. The sun was out and the view was really nice and the park around the whole "Cerro" made going up there worthwhile. A good program for a lazy afternoon.

Panoramic view of the city and photo ops. It is a very long way up the hill by walking and is a challenging route. We reached the lookout point by coach. Highly recommend to take the cable car or the funicular.

Great views and beautiful chapel. You can walk/bike or catch the sky mover/tram to the top of the hill. You can see for miles and the Andes.
