Great experience hiking the vinicunca mountain (rainbow mountain), the place is great but is so hard the climb. I recommend the trek only for fitness people.

After experiencing the Humantay Lake, for this hike we left very early in Cusco and hired horses to reach the rainbow mountain, breathtaking views with the snowy side.

I've expected more. It's a very hard walking to the top, too cold, too windy and too high. Is it beautiful? Yes. Is it worth? Hmmm.... go if you have time. Don't make time for it.

What a great hiking experience to get there with a lodge to lodge trek arranged through Elite Travel. Beautiful vistas, high elevations, tough breathing at times.

Although the arches do not display all of the colors you see in the photo-shopped advertisements, the drive to there is beautiful. The elevation is over 5,000 meters.
