We had a guided tour through the historic part of Lima. The Cathedral was very impressive. The church St. Francisco was equally nice, especially the old library and the catacombs.

We happened to be here on Tourism Day, with tons of activities, music and festivities in the square. Great photo opportunities and all free!

Going back to the 16th century. Fascinating history, interesting to hear from a local guide. Vibrant.

Very pretty, but make sure to go with for example a free walking tour guide so you can learn the history behind the area.
