Difficult to get there if you go driving. People walking on the streets make it unsafe and chaotic. Once you get there, the place is dirty, crowded and to be honest, restaurants do not look clean. If you skip this place when visiting Lima, that’s...More

Peking duck! Dim Sum! Chifas offering Peruvian-Chinese fusion plates that are colorful and fresh! Barrio Chino is not extensive but the menus push back the boundaries! If you're not there to eat not much reason to go...

Not that easy to find as it is not signposted. I came on a dull day and found it busy with people, streets dirty, fairly daunting, old not very clean looking restaurants and nothing special. Thank goodness I found the Cerichino restaurant which is a...More

Interesting place to walk around ... especially with all of the money changers in the streets, quite a spectacle.

If you are in the neighborhood go there by all means, you can't compare this to NY's china town but has tons of restaurant and all of them looked packed. Otherwise, the place is crowded, loud and a bit dirty - this was expected.

Not only can you eat well in any of the chifas around but you can also shop to your hearts content. The Barrio Chino is the original settling place of Chinese that came to Peru, so the food is out of this world. The chinese...More
