One of the most pleasant streets to walk on in Sofia. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shops and souvenir options, no cars and really good way to understand the people and their culture
Center of it all - full shops and of restaurants to indulge in local and international cuisine and watch the passerby , this pedestrian strip is considered the heart of the city both for tourists and locals
For Bulgaria, this is a fantastic shopping street. It does not hold a candle to Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse or Paris’s Champs Elysee. But, it makes a valiant attempt. There are plenty of restaurants and shops. Absolutely worthwhile to visit while in Sofia.
Vitosha boulevard has become a big tourist destination with a huge variety of activities. Perfect for walks in the summer and also in the winter when you can feel the christmas spirit.
Nice place to sit and have a coffee or beer and watch the world go by. For those interested in shopping I suspect a place to visit
