Visited this concert hall and spent 10 leu (2 pounds) to listen to orchestral rehearsal. Worth every penny. Beautiful circular auditorium and relaxing time.

Bucharest surprised me from beginning to end. Major architectural pieces from one hundred years ago seem to be everywhere and survived it's time after WW2

An absolutely fabulous building. We attended a concert by the Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra there. A really enjoyable experience.

The Athénée is wonderful venue in Buccharest for classical music concerts. I've been there for the Enescu festival, this is also a patrimonial venue with great architecture.

Yes, the building is impressive and it remains one of the city's simbols. Too bad visiting the interior is recommended as "virtual tour" and attempting to reserve a tour as an individual seems difficult.

One of the most beautiful buildings in Bucharest! In ancient times in that place it was a horse arena! That is the reason because it's a round construction. Finished in 1888, with donation from people! Now is “house” of Romanian Philharmonic!

The building is very nice, no matter the season. Recommending buying an icecream or eclair and enjoy on it steps. You need to visit the inside as well, at least the hallway. It's magical.

Well the the small admission of 10 Lei per person. The lobby interior is beautiful with some of the best faux marbre work I've ever seen. The concert hall is stunning. Check with the small office on the right side of the building to determine...More

You need to check their website for the calendar show. Some shows you cannot buy online and you have to go there in person. Call them to know when the tickets for the show you are interested are available.
