The partially restored National Palace makes for a reasonably fast and informative tour. It's a neat old Colonial building with interesting architectural details and some wonderful trees in the courtyard!

Beautiful historic building—a bit eery given how empty it is. You can definitely sense the importance of the building.

This National Palace is so beautiful for its unique antiquity. At the main gate you may see the Statue of Christopher Colombus and Queen Isabel from Spain.

When I went there wasn't much there. Mainly empty rooms. Apparently it's being restored. Might be good after that. But for now, not really worth the visit.

8-4pm M-F according to website. Does not close at noon -- would be a nice place to sit and rest out of the midday sun. Don't know the price of admission but is is not much by U.S. standards -- maybe $3?
