When I'm in town I always make a daily stop to the choco museo for my chocolate covered strawberry fix. You can also schedule a cooking demonstration, visit the jade store, and enjoy the cafe. Right off of the park and an easy stop if you are in the area.
CjocoMusel is a block away from my hotel, I ended up having ice cream almost every night there by myself. Chocolate ice cream is the best one (obviously). Didn’t take the cacao classes (did that in Perú). A couple of stores complement the main shop. I was told by our tour guide…
We booked for choco tour and making our own chocolate. Extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable guy explained many details from chocolate history as well as the process of making the best chocolate ever. Worth spending time and money.
We have a friend who lives in Guatemala and was our guide for our recent visit. He insisted that we visit the museum to see it and have the gelato. He was right-- it was excellente!
The whole experience was very fun and informative! He knew so much about the history and made the experience great for everyone! We will all definitely go again!
