It's a beautiful cathedral, very gilded, yet it's a shame that after standing in line so long one has to stay in another line for the bell tower and pay and additional fee. Overall it's beautiful but it would be nice to have some more info or a leaflet about it.
Very small. Dates to 305AD. Mausoleum of Diocletian. Tour groups crowd it out. Gold, panel paintings, exquisitely carved wooden doors.
Stunning and the views from the top of the tower are worth the climb up the first few ancient flights of lime stone steps. The inside of the cathedral are aw inspiring. Jupiter's temple isn't as good I'm afraid
This is one of many places which is a must to visit in Split and this place doesn't disappoint. It is a great building and it is in an area with several other attractions.
