Silly me for not doing my research before paying to go inside... it's not really black. Was hoping to get some interior decor inspiration for my favorite color. All jokes aside, I was annoyed that I couldn't take photos instead even without a flash, especially...More

Even if the entrance fee is low (10 lei / 2Euros), it is disappointing that you have to pay to visit a church. This is the patriarchal church of the Evangelical Church in Romania and is one of the most representative monuments of gothic architecture...More

Black church hosts organ music during summer using its great organ with 4000 pipes, no paintings because the church burn down together with half of the city back in 1689

Not one if those places to bother going out of your way to visit, unless you're doing a bit of a walking tour around Brasov. It's nice enough

Located at the end of the square, the church is an impressive sight. There is a fee to enter the church and the old stone tablets were interesting. The catacomb was also interesting.

Our guide was informative and the carpet inside were very well preserved. The church is not so black outside due to rain and snow washing it over the years but a few of the statues that have been taken inside are still black
