Left after about 5 minutes as the experience was so unpleasant. Vendors physically try to drag you into their shops and shove things in your face. Would definitely not recommend especially if their are females in your party. To be avoided at all costs.

This was my favorite souk in Dubai. The merchants were eager but respectful of my no. Definitely be prepared to barter, it is fun and you can get great deals. I bought clothes and souvenirs here.

Its extremely hot and enclosed the touts drive you absolutely insane, and the sales people ate extremely pushy, really they had nothing you couldnt buy elsewhere in a store where there is no hassell.

I passed thru here when walking along the canal from the archaological museum to the Dubai Museum. It is interesting but you have to take being hassled and telling people no over and over again. You can't just go in a shop and look around...More

After travelling India for a month and arriving at Dubai we thought this would be fun. It was unfortunately the opposite. It felt like way too much pressure, a polite no thank you was never enough you had t be what I felt was rude...More

All Souks are crowded and have shop owners trying to get you into their store, so I found it a bit overwhelming but there are also some beautiful things for sale and most are pretty cheap and you can bargin with them. Best place to...More

This part is full of makeshift shops exclusively for clothes and souvenirs. You can go ahead and buy stuff if you're one of those who can bargain well.

If you like thousands of textile choices, go. If you like hassling by multiple younger guys trying to sell you something, go. And try the side alleys as well. If you do not like this, check out pictures from others.

Of course, merchants in a souk try to sell passersby. What else would one expect? So, if you are put off by salesmen, do not go. But that would mean you would miss the experience of this colorful outdoor market with some very nice and...More

You'd probably find plenty here to be honest. There wasn't just textiles, there were lots of souvenir kinds of things. There was even a spice shop just in the middle of it all.

I am very sorry, but I really did not notice. As I was simply souvenir hunting :-))
