over the roof tops of the town to the sea, but there is nothing particularly outstandingly different about it, in a way that makes it stand out. Bit of an up hill, if you walk, to get here but there wouldnt be a view otherwise....More

High point in the city for the panoramic view of the strait and city below. A place to visit on a fine day but could still be windy.

There is not much to see in Punta Arenas and the city is fairly flat but the viewpoint does give you and overview. Short climb from city centre is with the effort.

The views from here are what you would find on postcards! Colorful rooftops, interesting buildings cascading down to the Straight of Magellan with boats and ships on the water, part of Patagonia in the distance. On the upper level there is a gold colored design...More

A mirador in the city that allows to have a panoramic view. It is ok. We visited as it was closed by a restaurant that we selected for lunch.

Best panoramic view of Punta Arenas. Easy walk from my hotel (Ilaia) and the plaza. You can do this in 30 minutes or so walking to and from the plaza.

Get to the top of the town and look out across the buildings and roof tops. Punta Arenas is a small city but this vantage point is excellent for taking it all in. You'll see a riot of colored structures and roofs. It is interesting...More

it's not an overly taxing walk up to this viewpoint and you will be rewarded with a fantastic view. Recommend going near sunset.

Around a ten/fifteen uphill walk from the Plaza de Armas, but worth it for the great view over the town and the channel. A must for photo taking. As an aside, on the way up one passes the reportedly most southerly Anglican Church in the...More
