If you love neat corners of history and culture, this won't disappoint! Cool displays about the various regions of Colombia and the types of gold mining etc. Lots of neat exhibits (gold frogs, birds, etc). As of Aug 2019 the main building on Bolivan Square...More

Had hoped to see the gold museum in Bogata but it was closed when I was there. This is a miniature version and it's very nicely done. Well worth the stop.

This free museum does a wonderful job of condensing Colombia’s golden past into a geographic and chronological summary. For newbies to gold, there aren’t enough details to get you up to speed. But if you’re walking in with background knowledge, this is the perfect update...More

I like copies of the Galaria Cano historical dig. I knew that’s what I would see there and I did. I was nice. I liked it but I didn’t buy anything. I think the original collection is more interesting than the updated copies.

This museum is quite small but it is quite interesting and there are some nice pieces. The entrance is free and so it's nice to have a look around.

We were able to see a selection of the artifacts from the museum in a separate location. We had been told that the museum itself is under renovation. But even as is it is well worth the visit.

The main museum is closed and the exhibits are being temporarily housed in the bank opposite. It’s small, free, takes about 15 mins to wander round and is well worth a visit.

The gold museum in Cartagena is currently closed due to renovations. It's right in the town center, on Plaza Bolivar. A kind guard advised us to visit the Jade museum (also free) next door. The Jade museum was really interesting, while we visited the main...More

I am not clear what the question is. You will have time to visit both the museo and the bank easily in one morning or one afternoon.
