This museum has a nice collection of Fernando Botero's art. It has three floors depicting art collections. Worth a visit and oly about $6 for a foreigner entrance fee.
My partner and I visited this museum last week. It opens at 10 am and has a large, outstanding collection of Medellin-born Pedrito Botero paintings, including a portrait of also Medellin-born, late drug trafficker Pablo Escobar.
As there are few museums or things to see in Medellin the museum provides a good collection of Botero's and some local art. Its great for Medellin but not judges against various other museums in the world. If you have any extra day here go.
Nice museum with Botero park right outside. You are supposed to start on the 3rd floor & work your way down, that way you start with all the Botero's since you have just come off the plaza.
If you like Botero's work, you really have to go there!! It's a very interesting museum and you won't regret spending your time in there. It's a city's referent!!
