It's amazing to see a metro system so clean and very well cared and maintained. People at the stations are very polite and helpful. The system is very small with just 2 lines. It's a sorry because it doesn't cover the city, just two corridors,...More

Ride all day on 1 ticket. Super cheap...only 2550 COP. The Pride of the Paisa. Elevators at most stops for wheelchairs.

No wonder the citizens of Medellin are proud of it. It's by far the best way to cover longer distances through the city, and it's super easy to use and understand also for foreigners.

Fun to see how fantastic the 'new ' metro is. They need it in Bogota too! We cable-cared up to Arvi park also fun part o the experience. Hope you enjoy it but expect not to be alone

Here in Medellin, you really do not need a car. Public transportation is efficient and convenient. Highly recommend taking the Metro

I'm not a regular rider of metros usually, but this is one thing Medellin really got right! Their metro carries over 1 million passengers daily and is the cleanest I've seen in any part of the world. It can get quite congested, but saves a...More

Yes, it is crowded during rush hour, but this metro system is one of the cleanest, safest and easiest to use I’ve ever encountered.

I was impressed as to how clean the metro system was. It runs smoothly and trains come in every few minutes. It can get very packed with locals to a point of no room to even stand and you have to pry your way out...More

We did a walking tour of Medellin and had to take the metro to the starting point of the tour. We purchased our card which was loaded with four trips to get us there and back. I think it is amazing that the cost is...More

Depends on which airport. Cordoba is in Rio Negro to the east and it's 45 minutes by car. Herrera on the other hand is in town but just handles small passenger flights. If Cordoba, take a taxi or the small bus (9,000... More

The answers have given you the info you asked. One other thing is where your hotel is located. Many times it's easier to take a taxi to your destination than take a taxi to a metro station. You'll love Medellin. It's an... More
