“Stone Bridge in Winter”
This is how the Stone Bridge in Moscow looks with the New Year illumination; they usually start decorating the city in early December and, I guess, it's on until March :)) No saving electric power, it's true. But lovely!
When travelling here in Moscow you are spoilt for choices on what to see and when - a lot of things, like this bridge, is amazing and free :)
The Greater Stone bridge is not stone, but iron one, and for more than a century. Stone bridge was its predecessor on this place. A layman like me doesn't have much to say about the bridge itself. It is quite functional because it is wide even when are placed on it different…
As a bridge, it is functional and serves a purposes, but the added bonus is the view over to the Kremlin, where you can get some great views over the Walls and Towers towards the Domes above Cathedral Square.
Good view to the Moscow kremlin from the bridge. Itself bridge is nothing special in terms of art. You can visit it if you have time.
