No other country suffered more casualties than Russia during WW2. This museum truly pays homage to all those fallen heroes while taking you on a journey which, with a bit of sensitivity will make you feel the pain this country has gone through ever since....More

Remains an interesting museum for someone interested in history. But very frustrating for a foreigner. Nothing has changed in the last decade. Still no English. Therefor my rating.

the Museum of the Great Patriotic War principally chronicles the Russian experience - politically, home front, economically and principally militarily of WW2. The initial part of the war, including the Molotov-Von Ribbentrop pact and the collapse of Soviet resistance before Leningrad/Stalingrad/Moscow sieges, is skipped lightly...More

An enormous memorial compound with a museum of the WWII, or Great Patriotic War as called in Russia. A place you must see in order to understand the consequences of war.

One of the best museums I have been, and I have been to many, many museums. Unfortunately there's hardly anything in English, and it was very frustrating. They definitely invested a lot here, but dec8ded that it for russians only. What a pity.
