At this very street the first book printed in Moscow was made. It was the place to buy books now only two places offer books for sale, one of them handles only old editions. There are several souvenir shops, restaurants and shops but the highlights are the strings of lights…
A beautiful street leading from Lubyanka Square to Red Square. At night it is illuminated by thousands of hanging lights and makes for some wonderful photographic opportunities.
This street has many good cafes after a visit to the Kremlin, pedestrians only. It was beautifully decorated when we were there\
We happened along this street on our journey to St. Basil's Cathedral. I loved it immediately! Beautiful lights hanging above head, little souvenir shops and different cafes to enjoy along the way. Be careful some shops are more expensive than in other areas.
Very beautiful street, but you can't see it now because of odd plastic decorations everywhere. It was much better without them, the buildings, their architecture are superb, but there're hidden. The most strange is that decorations are there all year round (((
