We were with a group and had about four hours to take our time walking around and taking in everything. It's huge, many great little pockets of different gardens, very family friendly and some lovely food options. Highly recommend it.

Awesome Russian history and culture an absolute must see if you go to Moscow. A mixture of old and new, great stroll, great coffee shops and a little snow in mid march.

I visited around New Years. It was cold and grey but I enjoyed my walk. I guess it`s nicer during other seasons. They`ve frozen some of the paths so there`s a great ice rink. There were food stalls around and obvious preparations for a New...More

I love parks, this is a place where you can relax. It seems to me that there are too many people in Gorky Park during the day. But you can rent rollers, bicycles or scooters. Inside the park are many stalls with ice cream. There...More

Gorky Park is tremendous, an oasis in a huge metropolitan city with plenty of walkways (which were being turned over to Ice skating paths in November), play areas, pond, coffee carts, and just lovely green space amidst a lot of concrete and marble.

Yakimanka acts as Moscow’s evergreen lungs with prime
beaches on the Moscow river. All the benefits of
visiting and living in Yakimanka are gathered at the
Moscow river embankment – three parks: Gorky, Muzeon
and Neskuchny garden shape this green stripe with
museums showing the hippest contemporary art. The area
is full of activities for your eyes (museums), mouth
(restaurants) and feet (sport and dance-wise). Access
