A very stunning castle with beautiful paintings architecture and sculptors. Well worth a visit. Amazing to see how the Russians preserve their prized possessions. Can spend a good few hours here

\very imposing old building which stands out from the crowd by its castle styled architecture. Imposing frontage from the road but worth going into the courtyard from the rear access and seeing the wonderful statues and architechture.

This museum is great to find out who is who in Russian history and their stories. I found many Emperors, Dukes and so many other important figures like Catherine the Great! It can take a while to see it all so recommend good comfortable shoes...More
