About
A visit to this 9000-acre park is an Amazon-like experience, with dry and flooded forests and lowlands, and numerous examples of giant water lilies measuring as much as seven feet in diameter.

I visited the park as part of the Encontra das Aguas package from Manaus. In the couple of hours that I stayed I was well impressed by the rainforest, especially by some of the very large trees that can be seen. I would recommend that...More

Enjoyed the experience but disappointed a bit that we didn't see many monkeys - just one and no forest birds, just one or two water ones. It was obviously the wrong time of the year for the famed waterlilies which was what we were most...More

Very near by boat from Manaus, it´s worth the visit for a day and finish with the Encontro Das Aguas, where get mixed-up the rivers Solimoes and (Preto or Negro). I was a little deceived about the Queen Victoria Water Lillies, because the flowers were...More

A great place to get away from the bustle of Manaus, and absorb in nature. The Great Water Lillies are named in honour of Queen Victoria, and are in themselves stunning to enjoy. If lucky you may also spot Jacana (Jesus birds) apparently walking on...More

This is an interesting and scenic picture spot with lots of squirrel monkeys in the trees and on the walkways.

The boardwalk is easy walking with monkeys skittering down vines to greet you. The ly pads are big, beautiful withlots of them, but we saw only white and pink blooms with birds walking upon them. No babies were laid down to test their strength.

These lillypads are big and beatiful. The area around them is tranquil and a bit remote, yet worth the time to get there, especially if traveling to other nearby interests.

The boardwalk leading up to the Lily-pads was nice, the little monkeys made the walk exciting, but the Lily-pads were a big letdown.
