Used it to go up from the port area to the historical area. It’s a paid Elevator ride and just a convenience. Charges 0.15 R. Once you reach the top the area is no doubt great and so is the view. Open till 11 pm.More

It worth to use the elevator with n case you want to transfer from port of Salvador to historical center. On the upper side of elevator is Thomas de Souza square, where view is amazing and you can see the entire city.
