Constructed in 1940, and visually dominating Jardins thanks to its tall spires, Paróquia Nossa Senhora do Brasil justifies a stop for worshipers and fans of architecture alike thanks to gold inlay plus a large art collection that outshines many of Brasil's other Churches or Cathedrals.

Beautiful church. Great ceiling and the gold is amazing. Located in the Jardin district. Take an uber or cab as limited parking in the area.

We did a private city tour, and our guide recommended this Cathedral. He was right. It was absolutely beautiful. The artwork is just wonderful and the ceiling is styled after the Sistine Chapel.

Relatively new church in a rich neighborhood. Blue tiles remembered me Holland and Portugal. Very bright inside.

The church is absolutely amazing. I was fortunate to stop by as preparations for a wedding we’re wrapping up. The interior rivals the best of Portugal (hand painted tiles) and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The church is small and was built in 1940...More

We visited this church as a group. The decor is amazing. The attention to detail is noteworthy. The highlight in my opinion is the ceiling which is spectacular. Not just another church.

Sistine-chapel like, the place has plenty of paintings on the ceiling. But it's not the only thing that worths the visit: the outside, as well as some pieces based upon wall tiles are just as intriguing.

A local guide took us there, and I did wonder why till I stepped inside. This is a real gem, it's absolutely beautiful. Don't miss the toilets, I won't say why but just go!

It's not an ordinary or usual church but it's of very different type European architecture with long pillars. Sitting and spending time there is very peaceful.
