These lakes are beautiful and the pictures you will take here will not do it justice. You are high up in the mountains but can still see mountain tops. Be careful with altitude sickness and move slow and do as the guides tell you if...More

I get there by myself, the road is a little bumpy but you do not need a 4x4. There is a car park near the 2 lagoons, and you don't need to walk much to enjoy the place.

It’s a must go place! Breathtaking! Don’t forget to take the famous picture on the road. The scenario is just amazing, I highly recommend it!

It snowed days before we drove to Lagunas Miscanti and Miniques, and it was magical. The place is maintained such that everyone gets a clear view of both lagoons without worrying about crowding visitors.

In Chile or Bolivia, the Lagunas Altiplanicas are a simply wonderful experience. Everywhere one goes, there are sights that cannot be seen anywhere else. Just waiting to be photographed, the review pictures tell the best story. We did a number of trips there, and all...More

At 10,000 feet above sea level, beautiful altiplanico lakes are spectacular. Recommend to acclimate to the altitude for 2-3 days before making it to the top. Also, a 4x4 vehicle will make you feel better although not a must.

I'm not sure. I visited the place in July and they were there. I don´t know if they ever go away.
