At the centre of this small historic town the square is surrounded by both historic buildings and inviting restaurants. The stone carvings at the entrance to the cathedral are exquisite and the nearby loggia served as an open-air courthouse.

We loved our time in Trogir and particularly sitting in the main square taking in the busy and friendly atmosphere. It isnt very big but has a church, a chapel, restaurants and shops enough to keep you busy for a couple of hours. Or just...More
We were so lucky with the weather and the bar we chose (Trogir Cafe). The staff were excellent and we were there when a fantastic group played live. Everyone was up dancing and the atmosphere was terrific.
The central square is surrounded by some churches, the town loggia and the usual shops and restaurants. Again, very little information was displayed on the various sites, rather disappointing so. The main church may only be entered if you are suitably dressed up.
Trogir is about 10 minutes away from Split airport, by bus (number 37). Buses are every 20 min. from main road outside airport. Trogir is small so once there it will only be a 5-10min walk to any of the hotels.
