We had a wonderful day with Mohssin our tour guide. He provided transportation to and from Chefchaouen, let us set our own pace, was so much fun to talk to, provided us with delicious refreshments, and even paid for us to use the bathroom when...More

The walk is very nice and easy, you can find places to buy water or eat all along the way next to the river... The landscapes are very nice and you can see monkeys too... The only thing that it's a bummer is the trash...More

A great place to visit on a hot day. The water is incredibly refreshing and crystal clear. So beautiful. The food is really good too. A really recommend this place to everyone.

An excellent place to spend a bit of time avoiding the heat. Some shade and obviously a spot to dip you feet in the cold running water. Quite busy with lots happening around.

Superb place to visit, reasonably short trek (45 minutes to 2 hours depending of what you are aiming for). Easy to medium difficulty. Aquashoes would be ideal (bodies of water) but you can manage without. Scorching sun and dry heat during summer, don't forget your...More

Be prepared, do not go when it's been raining or the walk is much harder. In summer you can walk most of the way in the river. Every 50 yards there is a makeshift cafe selling tagines cooked from local produce. Rope swings and crazy...More

Even though it takes 2-2.5 hours to get to the falls, we were happy to go. The water level is quite low in July and August and locals recommended to go rather between November and April. As others have mentioned, there’s A LOT of little...More

Such a good hike, with an incredible end at a waterfall with a crystal blue pool. Eat tajine for lunch at the waterfall. You do NOT need a guide (even if everyone tries to convince you otherwise).

We went. It's not that striking a sight, and it's tourist-shop heaven (that's an exaggeration). If you have time, and don't know what to do, go ahead, but it is just as interesting to sit in down, drink coffee and watch the world go by.

This can be done with a local guide or you could easily complete the walk yourself. Taxi from Chefchaouen is about 25dh each if you can get a full car load. Akchour is about 30 minutes away by car and there are facilities and restaurants...More

I would say is an easy hike... You'll have some parts where you have to walk on a more steeper path but it's still very easy... Also you have to cross the river sometimes, it was easy as well but maybe with a baby you need... More

‫There are 2 waterfalls, first one will take 30-45 minutes and the second will take 1:30 hour, try to reach the second one if you can.‬
