Well-preserved city walls with shops and restaurants. On a good day, stroll on to the beachfront and enjoy the sea breeze. We found several places within the walls to buy souvenirs at fairly decent prices.

Very easy to walk round and lots of quaint nooks and crannies to explore. Many tourist shops to look round but all selling pretty much the same thing. Lots of popular lively restaurants to choose from at night.

The city walls of Budva are very nice, but quite dirty. Furthermore, there is a significant lack of information, especially multilingual one.

I was in Budva as a student travelling through Yugoslavia in 1971 and stopped at Budva. It was very small then being little more than the old town surrounded by old city walls which would have been built for protection. Apparently the region suffered a...More

A lovely way to see the inner of the Old Town of Budva and it's surroundings. The fortress wall is shaped like a horseshoe, so it is not closed and you can only bypass part of the Old Town. Therefore, you have to go back...More
