The word iSimangaliso means miracle and wonder which went some way to describe this beautiful place. Lots of heron, wildfowl and waders along with a few other heavyweights in the form of crocs and hippos
The wetlands themselves are pristine and beautiful to spend time traveling through. Woe betide the weary traveler who might need to relieve themselves as some of the ablution facilities especially the Cape Vidal ones are terribly maintained and are very dirty.
