A very popular point for locals and tourists alike to get a breathtaking view of sunset with a great backdrop scenery of Lion’s Head and Table Mountain as well. On a peak season, it may be quite difficult to get out of Signal Hill as...More

Signal Hill may be called "the poor man's Table Mountain", as the views from up there are almost as spectacular, there is no wait for the cable car and one can walk up there relatively easily in one hour. Besides, if you manage to be...More

Signal Hill overlooks Cape Town and the Bay on one side, and Table Mountain on the other. If the weather is clear, the views are spectacular. You can get here either from hiking up one of the trails, via a tour, driving or an Uber....More

Drove a couple of Zimbabwean friends who live in Cape Town but had never been above the city to Signal Hill. They were blown away by the views on all sides

Take a trip to the summit of Signal Hill. Great views of Lion's Head & Table Mountain. Sedate little walking trails with a small refreshment area. Busiest at sunset as everyone wants their "Sundowners" on Signal Hill.

You can either take the long walk here from the Lions Head car park or you can drive all the way to the end of the road and it’s quite a gentle walk from there. Either way it’s good exercise and usually there is an...More

Great experience. We arrived early before the crowds arrived. Packed out a picnic items under the tree and waited for the beautiful sunset. Was definitely worth the wait. It does get a bit crowdy closer to sunset so you should definitely not be in a...More

That would be an easy walk but you could equally just drive up Signal Hill and avoid the risk of being run over by a car.
