We went there the following day after visiting the Argentinian side of Iguazu. I am afraid no comparison on all levels. We waited 45 min for the bus to reach the falls and then followed a crowded path without any real feel for the place....More

This is the Argentinian side of these mighty falls. Although you have to walk a little more than the Brazilian side, but you are approaching the falls much closer. Anyway you should visit the falls from both countries, each on another day.

Stayed 2 nights on this side of the falls and found everything we needed with ease. There were plenty of good restaurants and walking around the town we felt safe. Getting to the falls was easy by bus as was getting to Brazil by taxi.

This is a small town. Lots of small restaurants and shops. Several small grocery stores. There is a casino and a duty free shopping center.

We took a bus, however you can also take a taxi. We went with a group, so the bus may have been a cheaper option.
