The viewing was amazing, but lots of climb so... good way to lose weight. However, it shouldn’t put you off as end of climbing was worth it.
A true and real historic and ancient place, but reconstructed in a way that you will shake your head. If it would have been done today archeologists would do it pretty differently. But anyhow it is a place to visit and the view on the surrounding mountains is wonderfull.
Interesting place in Tilcara. Easy walk, cheap entrance fee. We spent one hour as this was the 2nd time we visited. It’s a mandatory attraction if you are in Tilcara!.
Lovely cactus gardens to wander through on your way to the reconstructed ruins. So worth the visit when in Tilcara. Great sites, great views and only 300peso per person. So worth the visit.
This is one of the places where ancient cultures of the Montes Andinos remain. It is an espectacular place, surrounded by a dessert of impressive cactus and most importantly, a place to meet with a part of History.
