My 13 year old daughter, took kite lessons here while my wife and other two younger daughters stayed up the beach to play in the calmer water. Lots of friendly bars and restaurants right on the beach.

Nice beach that can be busy one day and almost empty the next. Restaurants can be found easily along this long beach. Kites are nice to watch. Sometimes the beach vendors can be excessive but a polite no thank you and they respectfully move on.

Hello! Yes, Cabarete Beach is great for swimming. You will want to follow all of your common sense safety swimming rules, such as not swimming alone and being aware of rip currents.
