Cute little shopping area right after getting off the ferry, offered shops, food, coffee and bathrooms. Not far from here was a park with a nice view of downtown San Diego

Easy and scenic way to get there from San Diego harbor...plus, any who want to avoid the suicide bridge will appreciate this option. Actual transportation time is about 15 minutes.

We took the ferry to Coronado for a dinner date at one of the restaurants. The ferry ride was beautiful!

Buying ferry tickets was cheap and easy. The ride across was great- about 10-15 minutes. Getting back on the right ferry just takes a keen eye to look for the signs- but some people missed that!

The ferry landed and we walked through the landin g area to pick up the free shuttle to the Del Coronado Hotel. There were plenty of shops and restaurants with outdoor seating.

We mapped out our plan to bike from Coronado, so this was our best option! Very pleasant experience! Professionalism and a quick boat ride! The only drawback was that it leaves only on the hour from the pier in San Diego, so you have to...More

It’s about 1/2 a mile walk. Easy day. I would recommend you exit the ferry and head towards the Hilton, then use the foot bridge over the road and rail road tracks. It’s a nice view and not that much more of a distance.

Some times during the year there is a free shuttle. Otherwise it is about a half hour or so to walk.
