We stopped on a recent trip through the area to the caves and headed down the stairs to the boardwalk and looked out from the cave. Be prepared to climb back up the 145 (I think it is) stairs to the top.

While you have to pay to actually go down to the caves, you can view them from the area to the side of the cave building. There are tons of sea birds there to watch and sea lions and seals close by. Definitely worth stopping...More

Wonderful Scenery, and long Palm Trees, greenries everywhere. Good to see Sea Lion from inches. Beautiful extended Beaches around the area. Small Caves extended the Beauty. Cons : If you go where Sea Lions are there, you will need to face bad smell around that...More

Such a slight to see and allow your mind to image how places like these form. The history that you read before really helps paint a picture on just how much work it took to create the path to get down there. Will continue to...More

Longhand-dug tunnel with LOTS of stairs takes you down to the Ocean. (Same upward route takes you back to the gift shop.) A huge sea lion was sleeping/posing on a rock at the water's edge. Not much of a "cave tour" but the history is...More

A small cave just up the road from the cove. It costs a few dollars to get in and you are only there for 30 minutes. One cave going down 145 narrow stairs you reach a large opening, it’s quite cool and if you have...More

See the caves from the water on a kayak tour or from above by visiting the cave store or walking out on the cliffs. They are beautiful either way! The sea lions love the caves so keep an eye (or ear) out as you may...More
