Not knowing much about wine we chose this winery (there are countless in Napa) from an ad in a magazine, because it looked beautiful and because someone we met at a hotel recommended it. Didn't pre-book and got onto a tour straight away which was...More

Wow. This place really knows how to take care of visitors. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The staff, service, professionalism, hospitality, quality of wines and food plates are the best of the best. The courtesy and attention you receive at...More

We decided to visit Napa Valley with a spontaneous schedule of what happens in Napa - Stays in Napa! We drove up from our hotel in American Canyon and this was the first winery we came across that was inviting. Upon our entry we were...More

Our tour was cancelled due to the power outage (ever though vineyards all around were open). We paid for a tour and tasting and Wendy complained about us being there. Took us on a 3 minute tour of the whole facility and refused to allow...More

Robert Mondavi was a pioneer when he established his winery here in 1966, which gave rise to the Napa Valley wine industry of today. Interesting tour of the winery by informative guide with wine tasting of 3 wines. Site shop sells all the Mondavi wines...More

I have been here on various occasions, but one of the couples had never been. This winery is a staple of Napa and if you have never been it’s a must. The property is beautiful and the tour is informative. Mr. Mondavi did a lot...More

We did the tasting only. The staff was very accommodating as we took a chance showing up with 11 people and no reservation but it was a Friday and not overly crowded. They had several tastings of four wines to choose from. The wines were...More

We stopped at Robert Mondavi late in the afternoon. It was so nice to sit on a patio in the sun sipping a glass of wine. We did two tastings during the day but we loved having a nice glass of wine and snacks on...More

I did the $45 tour. Our guide was Pappy and he was excellent! I learned so much about the region, Robert Mondavi and the wine making process. What a great way to spend 90 minutes! The wine tasting was pretty good too! :)

The Oakville Grocery is just a half-mile south on St. Helena Hwy from Robert Mondavi. This is a great place to stop either before or after visiting the winery. Have fun!
