If you get the chance to check out the boardwalk I highly recommend! So much to see and do, history and modern collide! Amazing!

We had an amazing, fun, and relaxing family time at the beach and boardwalk! The hotel was close within the boardwalk (Solares) and it was a breeze in terms of convenience, especially if you have kids!

Maybe because it was grey and overcast I didn’t appreciate this for what it is. Half of it was shut, and what was open seemed dated. It’s a shame because I wanted to like it and had such high hopes when I arrived here. As...More

It's a great spot, can walk to the boardwalk, and we parked very close to our room. Very quiet area, very quiet at night... Could not even hear neighbors. Our only problem was it was a double bed, and it was tight for 2 persons....More

I haven't been to the Boardwalk since I was a teenager, it was just as much fun as I remembered. Great rides, fried treats (CORNDOGS!) and a very decent beach. The Pirate Themed Arcade is sure to be a hit with the younger travelers. So...More

The boardwalk is such a fun experience- vendors and food and people. The beach is great and the view incredible. The crowds were calm and it was a really good way to spend the day!

The Santa Cruz beach is very nice. The sand gently slopes into the ocean. The ocean was calm the morning we went for a walk without any wind. We were looking for shells but there were very few. We got lucking and found an unbroken...More

Another great place to stroll and take in the scene and you have to ride the Giant Dipper. It is 95 years young and still gives a fun 2 minute ride. The dips keep coming right up to the end.

Yes, you can purchase your all day pass the day of at any of the ticket booths. They also have a “boardwalk credit card” that you can load and then swipe for each ride you want to go on. When I visit, I usually load $30 on... More

Check with Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk website. They give a lot of information and a number you can call. We used the cards. And got our train tickets on line.
