I was hesitant at first to visit but I was soon amazed at the place. So much interesting history to hear and beautiful gardens to visit that you can spend a few hours here. Beautiful architecture too. I highly recommend.

It was the most crowded attraction we visited, so maybe try going on a weekday. Interesting history tour and 59 six-toed cats!

See how he lived. Enjoy the stories, some are hilarious, some tongue in cheek. Loved the cats. Decedents from his originals. Poly dactyls, friendly. Yes, they own the place.

Thank you for the review. The cats have a tendency to steal the show from Mr. Hemingway, but we are glad you enjoyed your tour during your visit. Hope you stop in next time you are here to say help to the cats.

Hi Lisa No it not necessary. There was a small group standing when we arrived, but it took approximately 5-10 min to get in. You can take a free guided tour inside and trough the garden.
