The displays inside the Field Museum are really neat, educational, and well done. The displays are not very hands on or interactive, although there were plenty of things to touch. (I was not necessarily expecting or needing hands on or interactive, but I'm just sharing...More

being from St Louis, we have great museums and they are all free. Therefore, paying to go was a challenge. However it was well worth. You will need a full day and most likely two because there is soooo much to see.

Lots to see, you can definitely spend all day here. Dinosaurs, mummies, meteors. Lots of Hawaiian killing clubs. Polynesia in general is well covered. Parking at Soldier Field was $25.

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park
