Skip the line when you arrive and purchase your ticket online. Mass transit via the bus was very convenient and drops you off fairly close. Lots to see for all ages. It was a nice day out, the ability to get close to hands on...More

I really enjoyed the submarine. There is an extra charge for the sub. But the tour was good. They guild was fairly knowledgeable. A few other exhibits were interesting, but I felt the museum was better for kids or young adults then adults. Still it...More

I went here with school in the sixties, visited once in 1980, and returned for my 65th birthday. It is still the most educational and fun museum I have ever been to. Current, interactive, entertaining, educational, stimulating, and hours of pure joy. If you’re in...More

I can’t say enough about this museum. There is an entire day’s worth of amusement for my boys (8 and 3). It is the perfect blend of fun and learning. Not overwhelmingly crowded either. Highly recommend.

Not close to other museums this on was a good find. Plenty of learning opportunities for teens. Bathrooms need more attention.

My favorite museum in all Chicagoland. It never gets old. There is so much to see and you never can do it in one day but I loved it since I was kid. They have something for everyone.

Allow time and money for experiences. We only had time for two experiences but both were fabulous. Our guides were knowledgeable and fun, making the information they shared more than palatable to young and old alike. Would highly recommend the miners tour and the WOW...More
