The navy pier is actually larger than I thought it would be. Lots of shops and restaurants and things to see. One of the highlights was the original rainbow cone. It is price at $8, but good and takes a good photo. Would I recommend...More

Went down to the navy pier for a day walk in late October only to find most attractions are closed. I can say the pumpkin decorations were nice

The pier offers great views and fun spots to stop in for food and a drink. It closes a little early at 10am so get there early but a good stop while in Chicago

The taxi stand in front of Navy Pier is well lit and busy. You should be fine even late at night

Yes it does, unfortunately. The area cannot be accessed after 8pm by vehicle (taxi, personal vehicle, etc). However, you can get pretty close to the lakefront using LSD (Lake Shore Drive) and definitely take beautiful... More

book one of the dinner boats at the pier or one of the restaurants at the pier most have patio areas that are heated otherwise get there early or go to the 95th floor in the Hancock either the bar or dinner
