My daughter and I visited two weeks ago as part of a tour package with a well known tour company. While in the process of paying for our purchases, our tour bus, without warning, drove away, abandoning us! My phone was having network issues so...More
Had not been to Ethel M’s for 17 years. We purchased a Groupon for the factory tour and chocolate &wine pairing presentation. Learned new information from our chocolatier and enjoyed 4 chocolates and 4 international wines. Excellent learning experience and the Groupon saved at least...More

Great place to visit with the family! To start outside is the Cactus Garden, with plenty of local and exotic plants that flourish in the Nevada heat. The grounds are gorgeous and there are fascinating plants to see, along with decorations for the season at...More
The cactus garden was cute—so many varieties. Nice relaxing stroll—not busy at all. The chocolate factory was ok—it was just a store in my opinion. Yes they have the factory going—however, for me they didn’t go into any factory tour or anything like that..
I just wanted something a little sweet after the fish tacos. I walked in the door. The smell of chocolate had already wafted through the air before I stepped in. It was almost like an unseen tether pulling me in. There was milk chocolate, dark...More
Loved the viewing window and seeing the chocolates being made. For us, the best part was the official chocolate tasting. We learned how to best taste chocolate (yes, there really is a "correct" way to do it), and we got to try so.many of the...More

It’s about 20 minutes away depending on the time of day. I’d say it’s worth the trip if you are really into Seeing how chocolate foods come to life. As fas the Cactus garden, I haven’t had the pleasure of touring the grounds but if you are a nature lover, I’d stop by. The hot chocolate is really good.

You need a car to get there but it's not that far depending where on the Strip you're staying. I think it's worth the trip though. It's not just a store and cactus garden. If you go to Groupon, get a Groupon for about $10, you can go to a chocolate tasting there which is very informative and fun. It last about 40 to 45 minutes. And if you go early, you can see candy begin made in the factory. And at Christmas time, it's so beautiful because they actually decorate the cactus with hundreds of colorful lights. Now that's a nice time with lots of people so go early.
It's a fun trip so try it.
