I was not real impressed with the shops but that is not why I went. I wanted to see the giant praying mantis, and it did not disappoint! Very big, very cool and shoots fire from the antenna to the beat of random popular music....More

This was a nice find during my stay in Vegas. Down from Fremont street; you will know you're there when you see the flames arching out over the sky. The fire-spitting Mantis is a show stopper. Lots will gather around to try and catch the...More

We strolled through this park for a few minutes and it was quite dead in terms of activity or shoppers. It doesn't seem to be popular as compared to the much larger premium malls in Las Vegas. Perhaps you could skip it when you visit...More

This place was phenomenally built and kept. You are greeted by a giant, metal, flame throwing, music playing preying mantis! We ate at Pinches Tacos, got beverages at Downtown Terrace Kitchen & Bar, talked to the Barbershop owner (today is his first day open!) and...More

Fun place to explore in downtown Las Vegas. Creative shops and nice casual places to eat. Make sure to witness the preying mantis breath fire!

A great addition to downtown... lots of interesting shops, restaurants and bars to explore and places for the kids to play.

Visited this spot and found NOTHING of interest other than the architectural idea of recycling of shipping containers. There are 4 shops.... one was closed, one was $5 cheap souvenirs, one was an okay ladies shop and last was a craft/jewelry spot which was worth...More

We swung by at sunset to catch the praying mantis show. It was entertaining! The flames burst out in time to music and gave me a good laugh. The rest of the area wasn't as exciting for me as it was just shops and restaurants....More

There is on-street parking and a metered city lot across the street. One could also park at Binions or another casino or city parking garage and walk down Fremont
