A good example of a colonial house set in lovely gardens. The house contains furniture and artifacts from it's hayday and the roof area is a real mixture of bits and bobs. There also a restaurant but it was not open when we visited
Great garden views from the balcony,Cosy and peaceful environment 👍. Went there for a lunch among friends. We had a great time. We are amazed with the good food...The food were so succulent n were full.thx u kitchen staffs...least not last Marc and Aniket were very friendly and…
We visited the house and grounds. Not very interesting and the museum in the attic was a bit strange. Overall the house really needs some maintenance. But it was interesting to get a bit of feeling of how life used to be. The restaurant looked nice.
Poor. They have tea infusion on their menu, but when the bill comes, they have billed 2 cups of tea because I had 2 tea bags in my cup. You should mention "PER TEA BAG" on the menu !!! THIS IS CUSTOMER MISLEADING Also note that the infusion was nearly cold !
This lovingly restored colonial house is set in pretty gardens and is easy to reach if you are visiting Curepipe. There is a restaurant for lunch but we just visited the house and grounds - the lady gave us some information about the house then we had a tea tasting.
