Visited as part of a tour, not worth 3 euros entry fee, very pretty gardens, blue eye slightly visible but not that spectacular, waves crashing into lagoon more intereresting but not very. I wouldn't make a special trip but pleasant enough as part of a tour.

We went with a group of 3 friends to see Buracona with a local guide namens Nando from NANDO TOURS - the best guide so far at Santa Maria (located in front of Hotel Oasis Salinas Sea). Therefor we were privileged to take our time without any rush, we could climb down the rocks…
We went on a trip with Tui postcards of Sal. If you are unsteady of foot you will not descend the stairs to the cave. Unfortunately the sun did not shine so we did not see the blue eye. Lovely views of the rocky cost line and well worth a visit.
