We didn’t know this existed until we landed on Rotto. I had no idea. How important the island was for Australian war history. The tour of the guns and tunnels was fascinating and well worth the entrance fee.

All the facilities are in great condition. The volunteer guides are knowledgeable. It is amazing to go inside the gun and to learn about the military history relating to the Gun and military presence in WA.
