we did a tour with a small group. The ruins are spectacular, but crowded with hucksters selling their wares. Take a hat, wear sun screen. it is very sunny and there is no shade. buy water from the sellers at the gate.

We visited a few months ago and were so expressed with the size and architecture of the temples. The whole site is huge and it was amazing to get to explore everything.

I don't recall a senior discount. I booked through TripAdvisor. Check the tours available to see if any have that discount.

Yes, before you enter and on exit, you will have to get toilet paper from the lady in the stalls or bring a few tissues. Also hand sanitizer. :)
