Go down about 80 steps to this underground wonder. It is a large domed cavern with crystal clear water. You can see to the bottom easily if you have a mask. Some underground passages to explore. Very pretty sight.

Nice water and setting. The guide underground watching over the pool provides interesting facts about the formation of the cave. Good to spend a few hours here to relax

There is no storage but usually you can take it with you as less crowds or keep with your driver like my group did.

Hi- it is possible to get there if renting a car. The road that leads to the cenote has new re-done and no longer has potholes. Skip Grand Cenote it is a tourist trap. In Coba make sure you go out to the largest site first... More
